Mr. Chandima Sri Wasala, our Academic Director, has over eight years of experience in teaching English and a deep understanding of how people learn languages. He holds a BA (Hons.) in English & TESOL from Coventry University in the UK and is currently completing an MA in English & Education Management. Certified as a Cambridge ESOL instructor, he has TKT and CELTA qualifications and is trained to ensure students achieve internationally recognized standards in English.
At Willington British Campus, Mr. Wasala oversees the quality of all courses, making sure each student receives excellent instruction and personal support. He believes in creating a positive, immersive English environment where students learn to think in English, gain confidence, and succeed in exams without needing to translate from Sinhala. His approach focuses on helping students build a strong foundation in English that supports their goals.
Ms. Ganguli Vishalya, our Senior Lecturer, is a qualified and experienced English teacher who graduated from the University of Peradeniya with an Advanced Diploma in English Language Teaching. She also holds Cambridge certification as an English Language Training Teacher. As the lead instructor in our School of English Studies, Ms. Vishalya presents course material in a clear and simple way, ensuring students can easily understand and apply what they learn.
In addition to teaching, she tracks each student’s progress closely and offers personalized support to help them improve. Her teaching approach focuses on developing students’ speaking, writing, vocabulary, and grammar skills, giving them the confidence to communicate effectively. Ms. Vishalya is dedicated to helping each student achieve fluency and perform well in exams, making sure they feel supported every step of the way.
